About Ventia and the Role
Ventia is a prominent provider of essential services in Australia, specializing in facilities management, hospitality, and support specifically for Defence sites nationwide. We are currently seeking motivated, full-time and casual Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team at the Simpson Barracks Defence Base in Yallambie, Victoria. This role is vital in offering excellent service to Defence personnel, visitors, and staff within a friendly, supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver professional food and beverage services, focusing on outstanding guest experience each shift.
- Serve military personnel efficiently and courteously.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in dining and bar areas.
- Provide proficient bar service compliant with Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) standards.
- Assist with light food preparation and restocking supplies as needed.
- Strictly adhere to food safety and hygiene protocols.
Candidate Profile and Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality and catering services is essential.
- Current Food Handling Certificate or willingness to acquire one.
- RSA certification is mandatory.
- A strong dedication to delivering exemplary customer service with positivity and enthusiasm.
- Applicants must be Australian citizens due to the necessity of obtaining and maintaining Defence Security Clearance, including Australian Federal Police checks.
Terms and Benefits
- Competitive hourly pay: $26.24 for permanent staff and $32.80 for casuals, plus applicable penalties.
