Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Food & Beverage Attendant to join our Support Services team based at our South Brisbane Head Office. This position focuses on delivering exceptional hospitality services, including premium coffee preparation, beverage service, kitchen management, and overall hospitality support to staff, clients, and visitors in a professional office setting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages using commercial coffee machines for employees, guests, and stakeholders.
- Set up, maintain, and clean coffee-making equipment daily to ensure optimal operation and presentation.
- Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels of coffee beans, milk, fruit, beverages, and other kitchen essentials; coordinate procurement with approved suppliers and perform regular stock audits.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized kitchen and hospitality area including restocking refrigerators, tea and coffee stations, snacks, and refreshments throughout the day.
- Support internal meetings and office events through catering and refreshment preparations.
- Collaborate effectively with Reception and Business Support teams to uphold a positive, friendly, and professional workplace culture.
- Assist in setting up meeting rooms and provide general office hospitality support where needed.
Candidate Profile
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Demonstrated experience as a Barista with proficiency in using commercial coffee equipment.
- Strong customer service orientation paired with excellent communication capabilities.
- Well-developed organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to work autonomously, take responsibility seriously, and maintain a proactive and positive approach.
- Professional appearance and strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Attributes:
- Experience within hospitality, corporate services, or office support roles.
- Capability in managing inventory and supplier relations.
- Familiarity with workplace health and safety standards.
