About the Role

Join the Agrodome team in Rotorua as a Food and Beverage Attendant, contributing to an environment where farming, tourism, and cultural heritage come together. This is a casual, on-call position requiring a motivated individual to deliver excellent hospitality to local and international visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Efficiently take and serve customer orders of food and beverages with enthusiasm.
• Deliver outstanding customer service while addressing menu inquiries.
• Ensure café areas and equipment maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Upsell menu offerings and manage accurate payment processing.
• Collaborate closely with the kitchen team to facilitate smooth service.
• Adhere to all food safety standards and workplace health and safety policies.
• Adapt to various tasks to maintain operational flow as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Previous experience in café, restaurant, or fast-paced food service environments.
• Positive attitude coupled with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
• A genuine passion for exceptional hospitality and embodying manaakitanga.
• Effective time management and calmness under high-pressure situations.
• Cultural openness or desire to learn Ngāi Tahu values, te reo Māori, and Tikanga Māori.
• Possession of a General Manager's Certificate under the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act is advantageous but not mandatory.
