Role overview
FlySafair is hiring a Flight Attendant based in Randburg, Gauteng, South Africa. The role is focused on maintaining safe cabin operations, supporting passengers throughout the journey, and ensuring that all service and administrative standards are met.
Key duties
- Maintain continuous compliance with all relevant safety rules, standards, and operating procedures.
- Carry out cabin-related tasks efficiently to deliver a consistently positive passenger experience.
- Demonstrate and uphold a strong sense of honesty, professionalism, and ethical conduct.
- Keep administrative records and compliance-related documentation accurate and up to date.
Requirements
- Matric / Grade 12 or an equivalent qualification.
- A valid SACAA Cabin Crew License is mandatory.
- A current AVMED DD50 medical certificate is required.
- Dangerous Goods certification is compulsory.
- Ditching certification is compulsory.
- Fire Fighting certification is compulsory.
- A valid South African driver’s licence is non-negotiable.
- English language proficiency at Level 4.
- Must be medically fit and able to swim.
- Must be prepared to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays, including early morning sign-ons and late evening sign-offs.

- Service-driven, tactful, and consistently trustworthy.
- Highly safety-conscious and able to remain effective under pressure.
