Job description
Role Overview
Responsible for overseeing daily fleet operations related to the transportation of hazardous materials. This includes vehicle and driver assignments, route monitoring using GPS technology, and ensuring all safety protocols are strictly followed.
Key Responsibilities
- Allocate vehicles and assign drivers for hazardous goods transport tasks.
- Monitor vehicle routes and locations through GPS tracking systems.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards specific to hazardous cargo.
- Manage and supervise heavy commercial vehicle (HCV) drivers to maintain optimal performance.
- Keep detailed operational and compliance records.
- Liaise and coordinate effectively with clients, Regional Transport Office (RTO), and other transport authorities.
Requirements and Eligibility
- Any graduate degree is required.
- Prior experience in fleet or transport management, especially involving hazardous materials, is advantageous.
