Role Overview
As the Fitness Manager, you will oversee the gym's fitness operations, managing a team of trainers while ensuring top-notch service delivery. Your responsibilities include driving revenue through personal training programs, maintaining high facility standards, and fostering a welcoming, motivating atmosphere for both members and staff.
Key Duties
- Maintain continuous coordination with the Format and Operations Team concerning training experiences and personal training revenue.
- Consistently meet or exceed monthly targets such as Training PR, Personal Training PR, session completion percentage, renewal rates, SOP adherence, trial-to-package conversion, lead generation, goal fulfillment, and revenue growth from personal training.
- Monitor and enforce compliance of personal and general trainers with training protocols, leave policies, and shift schedules.
- Ensure adequate trainer availability on the gym floor to provide safe and effective guidance to members.
- Facilitate the launch of new gym products and features, gathering proactive feedback from both members and trainers.
- Take ownership of gym facility maintenance and ensure all equipment is functioning properly.
- Achieve set personal training targets monthly while delivering exceptional personal training experiences, including maintaining benchmark PR, package completion rates, and goal accomplishments.
Qualifications
- Certified by a globally recognized fitness certification body.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in delivering training sessions.
- Strong motivational skills and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Possess an active CPR AED certification.
- Demonstrated success in team management and basic administrative capabilities, with proficiency in Google Sheets and Google Docs.
