Overview
Seeking skilled Fire Fighting and Fire Alarm Technicians to support installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fire protection equipment in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Role involves hands-on service of fire alarm and suppression systems, adhering strictly to UAE fire safety standards, and collaborating within project teams.
Key Duties
- Install, inspect, and maintain fire fighting and fire alarm systems.
- Conduct preventative and corrective servicing of fire protection equipment.
- Detect and resolve faults in fire alarm and fire fighting devices.
- Perform testing and commissioning activities for fire alarm and suppression systems.
- Ensure compliance with UAE fire regulations and project requirements in all tasks.
- Document service activities and prepare maintenance logs.
- Work closely with supervisors and project teams to meet deadlines.
- Observe all health, safety, and environmental protocols.
Qualification & Skills
- Technical certification such as ITI or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or similar fields.
- Additional certifications related to fire alarm or fire fighting systems are beneficial.
- Sound knowledge of fire safety standards and maintenance techniques.
- Capability to understand technical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Strong communication abilities and cooperative team approach.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in fire system installation and maintenance.
- Familiarity with major fire alarm brands including Honeywell, Notifier, Siemens, Edwards, Hochiki, or equivalents preferred.
- Practical exposure to testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance procedures.
- Experience in UAE or GCC regions is advantageous.
- Understanding of civil defence and industry norms preferred.
Additional Requirements
- Valid UAE driving licence is preferred but not mandatory.
- Ability to work independently and maintain composure under pressure.
- Flexibility to work on various project locations across the UAE.
- Preference given to candidates available for immediate joining.
