About the Role
Strive Search is collaborating with a top residential developer to appoint a skilled Finishing Foreman for a premier mixed housing and apartment project located in West Cork. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all finishing activities from the completion of the first fix to final handover for housing and apartment units.
- Ensure delivery of homes meets stringent quality standards and adheres to the project timeline.
- Lead and coordinate finishing trade teams, subcontractors, and suppliers on site.
- Manage snagging, de-snagging, inspections, and the final handover processes.
- Collaborate closely with the Site Manager to maintain schedules and address finishing-related challenges.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, Quality, and Environmental regulations.
- Conduct frequent quality inspections and meticulously document defects and completed work.
- Foster effective partnerships with subcontractors, consultants, and project teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated experience as a Finishing Foreman on large-scale residential projects.
- Proven expertise in delivering high-quality housing and apartment developments.
- Comprehensive understanding of finishing trades, quality assurance, snagging, and handover procedures.
- Proficient in coordinating subcontractors and managing finishing schedules.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to uphold exceptional quality standards under tight deadlines.
- Possession of a trade qualification or relevant construction experience is preferred.
Compensation
The role offers a salary ranging between €70,000 and €80,000 along with an excellent overall benefits package.
