Role Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Financial Planning & Analysis Manager to spearhead the budget and forecasting processes. The successful candidate will drive commercial ownership and accountability for business results, closely collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to support revenue growth, margin enhancement, and enduring profitability across various channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely monthly P&L closure aligned with forecasts.
- Lead and monitor critical cost areas, including trade and brand spending.
- Deliver detailed monthly business performance analyses and conduct root cause investigations for key financial changes.
- Oversee monitoring of key customer balances and act as the primary contact for customer inquiries related to revenue and credit.
- Develop and innovate reporting dashboards tailored for senior management insights.
- Serve as a finance partner in customer acquisition initiatives and profitability assessments.
- Manage all budget upload operations and ensure accurate and timely updates in reporting systems.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Proven expertise in Commercial Finance and Financial Analysis, preferably within the FMCG sector.
- Seven to ten years of relevant professional experience.
- Solid accounting knowledge, with a firm grasp of bookkeeping fundamentals.
- Strong capability in stakeholder engagement, influencing business decisions through analytical insights.
- Mandatory experience with IT systems such as Hyperion and SAP (including MicroStrategy).
- Cross-functional knowledge involving Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and HR to support business growth and commercial initiatives.
- Highly process-driven, meticulous, and organized.
- Experience managing Profit & Loss accounts and budgets, including variance analysis against plans and forecasts.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Entrepreneurial and proactive mindset with demonstrated ownership and initiative in past roles.
- Innovative thinker willing to go beyond the expected responsibilities.
- Team-oriented approach with readiness to provide support across functions in a small team environment.
- Passionate about the beauty industry.
