Job description
Role Overview
Join Aditya Birla Renewables Limited as a Financial Consolidation Team Member based in Mumbai. This position involves producing consolidated financial statements and reports for the Holding Company and its special purpose vehicles (SPVs) with strict adherence to timelines and regulatory standards.
Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual consolidated financial statements for the Holding Company and SPVs.
- Upload, validate, and reconcile financial data within Hyperion reporting platforms ensuring accuracy of consolidation entries, eliminations, and adjustments.
- Support a timely closure of books across all SPVs by collaborating with respective finance teams.
- Review trial balances, schedules, and reconciliations prior to the consolidation process.
- Conduct intercompany reconciliations by verifying balances and transactions among entities, working closely with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies and outstanding items promptly.
- Generate Management Information System (MIS) reports, perform variance analyses, prepare dashboards, and assist in management presentations.
- Provide support for budgeting, forecasting, and analytical reporting needs.
- Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS), accounting policies, and applicable clauses of the Companies Act.
- Assist in integrating updated accounting and reporting standards into practice.
- Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors during audits and reviews, preparing required schedules and documentation and addressing queries pertaining to consolidation and reporting.
- Maintain accuracy and completeness of financial data entered into ERP and Hyperion systems by supporting data validations, map reviews, and control processes.
- Identify and contribute to process improvement, automation opportunities, and enforcing adherence to internal financial controls and governance related to reporting.
