Job description
Role Overview
An established Irish company with a broad national footprint is looking to add a Financial Accountant to its expanding finance team in West Dublin. The position offers hybrid working and a salary in the range of €55,000 to €70,000, depending on experience, plus bonus and additional benefits.
What You’ll Be Doing
In this role, you will contribute to the preparation of monthly management accounts, statutory and management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and audit support across several business units. You will be part of a strong finance function and work in a high-performing environment where accurate reporting and timely close processes are essential.
Your day-to-day work will include month-end close tasks such as posting journals, completing reconciliations, and preparing management reporting. You will also assist with consolidated reporting, cash flow review, budgeting cycles, and statutory audit deliverables.
Working closely with regional finance teams and senior stakeholders, you will help deliver clear financial insights, review and explain variances, improve reporting methods, and support finance transformation projects as well as system enhancements.
Candidate Profile
The employer is seeking a qualified accountant, ideally ACA, ACCA, or CPA qualified, or someone close to qualification. Prior experience in an industry finance role is required. The successful candidate should bring strong analytical thinking, solid communication skills, hands-on ERP system experience, and advanced Excel capability.
Additional Information
This is a full-time position based in Greater Dublin / West Dublin with a hybrid working arrangement. Compensation is €55,000 to €70,000 per year, subject to experience, along with bonus and benefits.
