About The Kape

They are seeking a highly meticulous and organized Financial Accountant to manage the brand's financial operations.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and transactions across the company.
- Compile monthly management accounts, deliver financial reports, and prepare cash flow projections.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, as well as reconcile bank statements.
- Supervise budgeting processes, monitor operating expenses and overall financial health.
- Collaborate with production, merchandising, and retail departments to track inventory, production costs, and calculate cost of goods sold (COGS).
- Manage supplier payments, purchase orders, and expenses associated with production.
- Reconcile inventory changes throughout production, warehouse, and retail channels.
- Administer payroll processing and reimbursement of employee expenses.
- Prepare VAT submissions and ensure adherence to UAE tax laws.
- Coordinate month-end and year-end financial closing procedures, liaising with external auditors.
- Support the budgeting, financial forecasting, and profitability assessment segmented by collections and product categories.
- Maintain comprehensive accounting records and continually enhance financial procedures and internal controls.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within the fashion, luxury, retail, or manufacturing sectors.
- Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, costing of production, and retail financial operations.
- Proficiency with accounting software or enterprise resource planning systems such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite, Odoo, or SAP.
- Advanced abilities in Excel and financial report preparation.
- Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles.
- Exceptional analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
- Capability to work autonomously and coordinate effectively across various departments.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
