They are seeking a highly meticulous and organized Financial Accountant to manage the brand's financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities and transactions across the company.
• Compile monthly management accounts, deliver financial reports, and prepare cash flow projections.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, as well as reconcile bank statements.
• Supervise budgeting processes, monitor operating expenses and overall financial health.
• Collaborate with production, merchandising, and retail departments to track inventory, production costs, and calculate cost of goods sold (COGS).
• Manage supplier payments, purchase orders, and expenses associated with production.
• Reconcile inventory changes throughout production, warehouse, and retail channels.
• Administer payroll processing and reimbursement of employee expenses.
• Prepare VAT submissions and ensure adherence to UAE tax laws.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end financial closing procedures, liaising with external auditors.
• Support the budgeting, financial forecasting, and profitability assessment segmented by collections and product categories.
• Maintain comprehensive accounting records and continually enhance financial procedures and internal controls.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• 3 to 5 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally within the fashion, luxury, retail, or manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, costing of production, and retail financial operations.
• Proficiency with accounting software or enterprise resource planning systems such as Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Oracle NetSuite, Odoo, or SAP.
• Advanced abilities in Excel and financial report preparation.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations and accounting principles.
• Exceptional analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Capability to work autonomously and coordinate effectively across various departments.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are advantageous.
