Job description
Role overview
This position is for a finance leader who can guide the company’s financial planning, control, and reporting functions while helping drive long-term growth and efficient operations. The role calls for a strategic thinker with strong analytical ability, who can translate financial data into practical business guidance for senior leadership.
Core focus
You will own key financial processes such as budgeting, forecasting, FP&A, cash flow oversight, and management reporting. The goal is to keep financial performance on track, strengthen governance, and provide timely insights that support sound executive decisions.
Key duties
The role includes reviewing financial performance, spotting risks and opportunities, building financial models, and recommending actions that support strategy and sustainable expansion. You will also oversee the preparation and review of financial statements, manage month-end and year-end close activities, and ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and internal policies.
Additional duties involve coordinating audits, improving internal controls, managing financial risk, optimizing processes, supporting capital allocation and investment decisions, and helping with resource planning. You will work closely with executive leaders and cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of operational initiatives, strengthen reporting systems, and promote better decision-making through automation and process improvement.
Governance and reporting
This position also covers the development of financial policies, monitoring of KPIs, support for regulatory reporting, and promotion of financial discipline across the organization. A key part of the job is ensuring that financial information is reliable, accurate, and useful for business planning and oversight.
Qualifications
A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field is required. A master’s degree or a professional qualification such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA, or an equivalent credential is considered an added advantage.
Applicants should have strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, corporate finance, FP&A, accounting standards, governance, internal controls, audit procedures, regulatory compliance, and risk management. Good leadership, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills are essential, along with excellent written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is expected. Experience with ERP platforms, financial software, business intelligence tools, or reporting systems will be beneficial. Strong organization, integrity, professionalism, and sound business judgment are important, as is a commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
