Overview
We are collaborating with a fast-growing Irish energy firm based in Blanchardstown, Fingal, Ireland, seeking a Finance Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the compilation and presentation of monthly management accounts and financial reports for multiple entities.
- Provide insightful financial analyses, key performance indicators, and performance updates to senior leadership.
- Manage processes around budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
- Work alongside operational teams to enhance profitability, track expenditures, and boost operational efficiencies.
- Supervise balance sheet reconciliations, month-end closing procedures, and ensure financial control integrity.
- Support financial reporting and analysis related to capital expenditure projects.
- Coordinate audit activities, statutory financial reporting, and compliance with tax regulations.
- Continuously improve financial reporting workflows, systems, and internal control mechanisms.
- Provide commercial and financial guidance for strategic projects and organizational initiatives.
- Offer mentorship and assistance to junior finance personnel as needed.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA certification.
- Has a minimum of three years post-qualification experience, either in industry or accounting practice.
- Demonstrates a solid foundation in financial reporting, management accounting, and budgeting techniques.
- Exhibits strong commercial awareness paired with excellent analytical abilities.
- Communicates effectively and works well with operational stakeholders.
- Experience in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, engineering, construction, or utilities is advantageous.
