Overview

We are collaborating with a fast-growing Irish energy firm based in Blanchardstown, Fingal, Ireland, seeking a Finance Manager to join their team. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the compilation and presentation of monthly management accounts and financial reports for multiple entities.
  • Provide insightful financial analyses, key performance indicators, and performance updates to senior leadership.
  • Manage processes around budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
  • Work alongside operational teams to enhance profitability, track expenditures, and boost operational efficiencies.
  • Supervise balance sheet reconciliations, month-end closing procedures, and ensure financial control integrity.
  • Support financial reporting and analysis related to capital expenditure projects.
  • Coordinate audit activities, statutory financial reporting, and compliance with tax regulations.
  • Continuously improve financial reporting workflows, systems, and internal control mechanisms.
  • Provide commercial and financial guidance for strategic projects and organizational initiatives.
  • Offer mentorship and assistance to junior finance personnel as needed.

Candidate Profile

  • Possesses ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or CPA certification.
  • Has a minimum of three years post-qualification experience, either in industry or accounting practice.
  • Demonstrates a solid foundation in financial reporting, management accounting, and budgeting techniques.
  • Exhibits strong commercial awareness paired with excellent analytical abilities.
  • Communicates effectively and works well with operational stakeholders.
  • Experience in sectors such as energy, manufacturing, engineering, construction, or utilities is advantageous.
