Finance Manager - Cost Accounting & SAP S/4HANA

Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Finance Manager with specialized knowledge in cost accounting, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), and SAP S/4HANA system management. The role focuses on enhancing cost effectiveness, facilitating strategic business insights, and ensuring precise financial reporting utilizing advanced ERP technology.

Key Duties

• Manage financial closing activities on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis ensuring compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards.
• Prepare, assess, and present financial statements with an emphasis on accuracy and timely delivery.
• Lead cost accounting processes including standard costing, product and variance analysis, and optimization of manufacturing/service costs.
• Conduct profitability analyses segmented by product, customer, and business units while monitoring cost control measures and overhead distributions.
• Serve as the primary finance representative for SAP S/4HANA FI and CO modules, overseeing system utilization for financial reporting, costing, and control functions.
• Support SAP S/4HANA system updates, implementation projects, and collaborate with IT and business units to enhance automation and data integrity.
• Head budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling efforts that inform strategic organizational decisions and track budget adherence.
• Work closely with operational, procurement, and commercial teams to provide actionable financial insight, bolster decision-making, and spearhead efficiency initiatives.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar disciplines; professional accounting certifications such as CA, CPA, CMA, ACCA, or CIMA are advantageous.
• Between 8 and 12 years of finance experience with a strong focus on costing, particularly in manufacturing, industrial, or FMCG sectors.
• Practical experience in handling SAP S/4HANA modules (FI, CO, Product Costing, COPA), including involvement in implementation or migration programs.
• Familiarity with digital finance transformation and roles requiring regional or multi-country financial responsibilities.
• Advanced skills in cost accounting, financial analysis, Excel-based modeling, and a working knowledge of Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
• Effective leadership, communication, and analytical skills, capable of driving cross-functional collaboration and detailed-oriented financial oversight.
