Finance Director

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Finance Director to lead the finance division at our organization based in the United Arab Emirates. This full-time position is primarily onsite with some potential for hybrid work arrangements. The Finance Director will be responsible for steering all financial operations and strategies to promote sustainable growth and compliance.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead overall financial activities including accounting, budgeting, and financial planning efforts.
• Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Prepare and deliver comprehensive financial reports, forecasts, and performance assessments to senior leadership.
• Manage liquidity, investment portfolios, internal controls, and risk assessment procedures.
• Ensure adherence to relevant financial laws, accounting standards, and governance policies.
• Supervise budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial strategy development.
• Support corporate initiatives including mergers, acquisitions, expansion, and investment projects.
• Lead and nurture finance and accounting teams to meet organizational targets.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent are preferred.
• Demonstrated success in senior finance leadership roles like Finance Director, Head of Finance, Financial Controller, or Finance Manager.
• In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and risk management practices.
• Proficiency with ERP systems including SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar.
• Strong leadership, strategic planning, analytical capabilities, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to manage diverse stakeholders.
