Role Overview
We seek a proactive Finance Controller to manage the daily financial operations of the German branch. This position is highly operational, ideal for professionals who enjoy working closely with financial details and gaining broad exposure to financial processes in an international renewable energy context. The role involves close collaboration with the Senior Finance Manager and serving as the primary operational finance liaison with the headquarters in Spain.
Core Responsibilities
- Compile monthly financial reports and assist with controlling activities
- Conduct financial analysis and manage data using Excel
- Oversee the end-to-end invoicing process
- Coordinate with external accounting and tax consultants
- Manage the exchange of financial data with internal and external partners
- Support banking procedures including documentation and material preparation
- Track contract-related finances during development and construction phases
- Serve as a key operational contact interfacing with the HQ finance team
Candidate Profile
- Between 1 and 5 years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting roles
- Strong practical approach with meticulous attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel and comfortable handling financial data
- Basic knowledge of financial processes and systems, including banking operations
- Capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Fluency in German at native level is mandatory
- Proficient in English
