Project Finance Manager - Renewable Energy (Solar & Energy Storage)

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Finance Manager to join a dynamic renewable energy platform focused on advancing solar and energy storage initiatives across Germany. This pivotal position bridges the domains of project finance, investment strategy, and sustainable energy development by collaborating with investors, banks, and internal parties to design and execute financial solutions for energy infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and oversee financing arrangements specifically for solar and energy storage project portfolios.
• Guide investors concerning optimal debt and equity financing approaches and appropriate investment structures.
• Evaluate financial scenarios to craft bespoke financing proposals tailored for clients and funding partners.
• Establish and nurture strong partnerships with banks, lending institutions, and financing collaborators.
• Drive transaction processes from initial deal structuring stages through to closure and funding.
• Collaborate closely with commercial teams to ensure smooth project procurement and investment execution.
• Perform detailed analysis of project economics and financing alternatives to underpin sound investment decisions.

Candidate Requirements

• Academic degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, or equivalent field.
• Proven background in corporate banking, lending, investment advisory, or structured finance environments.
• Deep knowledge of financial structures, credit evaluation, and investment modeling techniques.
• Strong communicative abilities to interact effectively with investors, lenders, and senior-level stakeholders.
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial spirit paired with a methodical and organized working style.
• Experience or familiarity with renewable energy sectors, project finance operations, infrastructure investments, or energy market dynamics is favorable.
