About the Role
We collaborate with a prominent multinational manufacturing company seeking a Finance Business Partner to support its Europe and UK divisions. This role involves close collaboration with regional business leaders to enhance performance, shape strategic decisions, and provide valuable financial insights. The position spans exposure across Sales, Operations, and R&D within a dynamic global environment.
The role is based in either Singapore or Kuala Lumpur, requiring roughly 50% travel to engage with key stakeholders and operations across Europe and the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with commercial and operational teams in Europe and the UK to boost business growth and performance.
- Produce comprehensive financial analyses, management reporting, and KPI dashboards to assist strategic decision-making.
- Lead monthly business reviews, analyzing performance deviations and uncovering commercial opportunities and risks.
- Promote business process enhancements and operational excellence by working cross-functionally.
- Offer financial advice regarding cost control, pricing strategies, inventory management, and operational efficiency.
- Assist in risk assessment, internal control measures, and governance efforts, suggesting pragmatic business solutions.
- Partner with local and global teams on initiatives for continuous improvement and transformation projects.
Candidate Requirements
- University degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in commercial business controlling or finance business partnering roles.
- Proven ability to work alongside Sales and Operations to guide important commercial decisions.
- Established record in driving process improvements and managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
- Background in manufacturing, trading, or export-focused businesses; experience with finished goods export trading is a strong advantage.
- Excellent skills in analysis, communication, and presentation, capable of simplifying intricate financial matters.
