Role Overview
BEC Arabia is looking for a detail-driven Finance - Administrative Officer to support our Finance team in Riyadh. This role is crucial for maintaining seamless financial operations and ensuring regulatory compliance under Saudi laws, contributing to our growth aligned with Vision 2030. The position offers involvement in prestigious infrastructure projects across Saudi Arabia and the GCC.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle financial paperwork, including invoices and expense documentation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to company policies.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory agencies to submit financial reports promptly and comply with GOSI and Saudi regulations.
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely settlements and collections.
- Prepare periodic financial statements and reports for both internal use and external stakeholders.
- Assist the Finance Manager with budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
- Ensure compliance with Saudi Labor Law and Saudization (Nitaqat) obligations.
- Maintain precise records of employee benefits, payroll, and deductions alongside HR.
- Develop and refine administrative processes to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Support financial data preparation for bids, tenders, and project proposals.
- Communicate with vendors, contractors, and clients to resolve financial discrepancies and facilitate smooth transactions.
- Oversee procurement of office supplies and control administrative expenditure budgets.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in financial administration or comparable roles, ideally within construction or engineering sectors.
- Proficient in financial software such as SAP, Oracle Financials, or QuickBooks.
- Strong understanding of Saudi Labor Law, GOSI, and Nitaqat.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and other Office tools.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail.
- Fluent English language skills; Arabic proficiency is a significant advantage.
Preferred Credentials
- Certification: CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred.
- Experience managing finances for construction, engineering, or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and quality management standards.
- Familiarity with LEED, Mostadam, or sustainability financial reporting.
- Advanced capabilities in financial modeling and data analysis.
Working Environment and Conditions
- Onsite position at BEC Arabia's Riyadh office.
- Normal office hours with occasional extended hours during reporting periods.
- Minimal travel required to project sites or client locations within Saudi Arabia.
