About the Role
BEC Concrete Solutions is seeking a proficient Tax Compliance Specialist to join its Finance Department in Riyadh. This vital position involves ensuring full adherence to Saudi Arabian tax laws, including VAT, Zakat, and corporate income tax, while supporting the financial framework of a leading construction and engineering company. The role offers the chance to contribute to high-impact projects in alignment with Saudi Vision 2030 and collaborate within a diverse multinational team.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain compliance with all Saudi tax legislations by preparing and submitting accurate tax filings on time.
- Keep abreast of updates in Saudi tax regulations and evaluate their effects on company operations.
- Create and enforce tax policies and procedures to enhance compliance efficiency and reduce risks.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and governmental bodies during audits and inquiries.
- Generate detailed tax reports and analysis for management and internal stakeholders.
- Recognize and suggest tax-saving opportunities to optimize the company’s tax liabilities.
- Support accurate tax disclosures in financial statement preparation.
- Educate and advise internal teams on tax compliance best practices and requirements.
- Provide tax-related insights to assist the Finance Department with budgeting and forecasting.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate tax considerations into project planning and execution.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
- At least five years' experience in tax compliance, preferably in construction or engineering sectors.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Saudi tax regulations including VAT, Zakat, and corporate income tax.
- Proficiency in tax software and financial platforms such as SAP or Oracle.
- Strong grasp of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in English; Arabic proficiency is highly advantageous.
- Understanding of GOSI and other Saudi regulatory frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Taxation, Accounting, or Finance.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CTA, or SOCPA.
- Experience in tax compliance for large-scale projects or multinational companies.
- Knowledge of transfer pricing and international tax treaties.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and financial modeling expertise.
