About the role
Mercor works with top creative and technical professionals and pairs them with leading AI research teams. The company is based in San Francisco and is backed by investors such as Benchmark, General Catalyst, Peter Thiel, Adam D'Angelo, Larry Summers, and Jack Dorsey.
This opening is for a FIFA football fan who can review AI-generated content in both English and German. The work is fully remote and is structured as a contract engagement.
You will spend about 15 hours each week during the tournament checking whether AI-generated football content is accurate, clear, and fluent. The focus is on World Cup-related material such as match results, player profiles, team strategies, standings, statistics, and football terminology.
What you'll do
- Review and score AI-written answers about FIFA World Cup matches, player profiles, statistics, and football terms in both English and German.
- Check German-language outputs for factual correctness, including match outcomes, league tables, tactical summaries, and player evaluations.
- Spot mistakes, fabricated details, and other inaccuracies in football content across both languages.
- Judge whether bilingual content reads naturally and accurately in English and German.
- Complete content-rating tasks promptly while the tournament is underway.
Who we're looking for
- You are an enthusiastic football supporter who closely follows the FIFA World Cup 2026.
- You have current, solid knowledge of match results, player stats, team dynamics, and tournament updates.
- You can read, write, and understand both English and German with ease.
- You are quick at identifying wrong or misleading information in AI-produced football content.
- You can commit at least 15 hours per week throughout the tournament.
Compensation and terms
The role pays $27 to $43 per hour. It is a paid contractor position, and payments are made weekly through Stripe Connect.
