Role Overview
Mainmark is hiring motivated, safety-minded field technicians to join its expanding teams in Auckland and Christchurch. People with experience in building, plumbing, concrete pumping or other hands-on trades are encouraged to apply, as full specialist training will be provided.
What You’ll Do
In this role, you will support experienced crews in delivering Mainmark’s ground engineering technologies on residential, commercial and infrastructure projects.
- Lift, re-level and re-support houses, buildings, bridges, roads and other structures using specialist Mainmark methods.
- Use equipment and complete site-based construction tasks in a safe and efficient way.
- Collaborate with customers, project managers and teammates to achieve strong project outcomes.
- Deliver excellent service to customers throughout the project lifecycle.
- Work in line with safe work procedures and help strengthen the workplace safety culture.
- Maintain high-quality workmanship and a strong eye for detail.
About You
The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking and comfortable with practical, physical work.
- Experience in a construction trade is preferred.
- You should be able to work outdoors and handle physically demanding conditions.
- A positive attitude and eagerness to learn are important.
- You must be able to follow procedures and stay effective under pressure.
- A clear focus on safety is essential.
- You should be flexible to travel when needed.
Job Requirements
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Site Safety Card.
- Good physical fitness and ability to perform manual work.
- Strong work ethic and a team-oriented mindset.
