Field Service Representative - Conventional Maintenance (KSA)

Role overview

Pinnacle Solutions, part of Akima, is hiring a Field Service Representative to provide conventional maintenance support in Saudi Arabia. The role is based in-country and focused on keeping THAAD-related support equipment mission-ready at designated locations within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This is a level-of-effort, best-effort maintenance assignment centered on sustaining the availability of tactical vehicles, generators, and material handling equipment under Foreign Military Sales program requirements.

What you will do

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment using OEM technical guidance.
• Service and repair heavy tactical wheeled vehicles, including the HEMTT family.
• Maintain trailers and battery support equipment.
• Work on material handling equipment, including rough-terrain and multi-directional forklifts.
• Support power generation assets such as HDT DRASH generators and 5kW HEMTT-mounted generators with Kubota/Cummins variants.
• Perform scheduled maintenance services on a semi-annual and annual basis.
• Diagnose faults and isolate problems in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Replace or repair components such as starters, alternators, fuel system parts, belts, filters, and electrical assemblies.
• Complete inspections, testing, and adjustments to keep equipment serviceable and operationally ready.
• Use technical manuals and maintenance documentation to remain compliant with established standards.
• Keep maintenance records accurate and provide status updates when needed.
• Work independently as the only FSR at the site and coordinate maintenance priorities with the supported units.
• Be available for flexible and extended hours whenever mission needs require it.

Experience and qualification requirements

• Qualified as a 91B Wheeled Vehicle Mechanic or through an equivalent military or commercial certification.
• Have 8 to 15 years of relevant maintenance experience with tactical or heavy commercial equipment.
• Bring hands-on experience with diesel engine maintenance and repair.
• Have worked on powertrain systems such as transmissions, differentials, and transfer cases.
• Be skilled in hydraulic and electrical troubleshooting.
• Understand and perform Preventive Maintenance Checks and Services (PMCS).
• Be able to follow OEM technical manuals and standard maintenance procedures.
• Have experience working independently in field or overseas environments.

Preferred background

• Experience supporting THAAD or other comparable defense systems.
• Previous work as a Field Service Representative or in Contractor Logistics Support.
• Familiarity with HEMTT platforms, MHE, and military support equipment.
• Background supporting programs in Saudi Arabia or similar operating conditions.
• Generator maintenance and power generation system experience.
• Knowledge of air conditioning repair and maintenance fundamentals.
• Saudi nationals are preferred.

Additional requirements

• Must be able to satisfy medical, security, and deployment conditions for assignment in-country.
• Must be comfortable working in austere or remote settings with limited outside support.
• Should be physically capable of lifting, carrying, and operating maintenance tools and equipment as needed.
• Must be willing to work extended hours based on mission demands.
