Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Field Representative for our Special Inspections Department based in Oakville, Ontario. This full-time role involves conducting field evaluations of electrical products across Canada, with Oakville serving as the primary office for reporting.
Primary Responsibilities
- Schedule and coordinate inspections in collaboration with the SI Account Manager and Department Manager.
- Perform on-site inspections according to established procedures and checklists, ensuring qualification standards are met.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including those specified by clients.
- Compile and submit invoicing information to the Accounting Department.
- Assess inspection results thoroughly and communicate findings to the Department Manager.
- Produce detailed inspection reports and consolidate test data with inspection outcomes.
- Identify and report any procedural deviations or non-conformances observed during inspections.
- Monitor and follow up on corrective action plans from clients as per inspection guidelines.
- Address client inquiries, concerns, or issues promptly and relay client feedback to management.
Candidate Profile
- Possesses practical expertise in electrical and electronics fields, including equipment calibration with at least four years of relevant work experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high accuracy in documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
- Dependable and punctual work ethic.
Working Conditions
- Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, typically 9 AM to 5:30 PM, with adjustments for travel requirements.
- Frequent travel across Canada is required and may include some international trips.
- A valid driving license and passport are mandatory.
- Having a personal vehicle is preferred but not mandatory.
Compensation and Benefits
