About the Role
We are seeking a highly driven Festival Producer with a passion for dance music culture and expertise in event production and operations. This key leadership position requires hands-on involvement in organizing, managing, and delivering exceptional music festivals and branded events that impress and engage attendees.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with festival stakeholders, including Promoter, Project Manager, Finance Lead, and production teams to deliver top-tier music festivals.
- Create and execute budgets with Promoter and Finance Lead, managing departmental spending effectively.
- Work alongside CAD designers to develop festival layouts and issue organizational charts with the project manager.
- Assign managers to critical areas ensuring optimal experience for headliners.
- Oversee obtaining required event permits and coordinate with local agencies throughout planning and event execution phases.
- Manage event capacities prioritizing safety, comfort, and audience engagement.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with venues and regional agencies.
- Coordinate with the Vice President of Risk Management to produce comprehensive operational and emergency action plans, including severe weather protocols.
- Act as the primary venue contact and lead regular production and operations meetings.
- Produce concerts and rave events as schedules and demand dictate.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of eight years’ experience in live event planning and management.
- Demonstrated success in leading large-scale event or music festival teams.
- Experience developing and conducting staff training initiatives.
- Highly reputable character supported by at least five strong professional references.
- Competence in the use of spreadsheet software.
- Self-motivated with a proactive, optimistic approach to challenges.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude with a heightened sense of urgency for task completion.
Work Environment and Requirements
- Ability to work in loud, dynamic environments.
- Excellent communication skills across diverse personality types.
- Willingness to work evenings and weekends and travel frequently as needed to fulfill job responsibilities.
