Role summary

The position supports smooth day-to-day operations across the restaurant and bar. Your focus will be to deliver efficient service, maintain beverage quality and consistency, and help create a lively, engaging guest experience.

Key duties

  • Greet guests warmly in the new food and beverage outlets and provide service that is prompt, courteous, and professional.
  • Represent the hotel positively through a polished appearance, professional conduct, and strong grooming standards.
  • Communicate clearly with guests in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffees and cocktails.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the products offered.
  • Take ownership of the assigned section and service station.
  • Keep the food and beverage area fully stocked throughout service.
  • Handle customer payments accurately.
  • Follow hygienic food-service practices during all operations.
  • Clean and sanitize tables as needed.
  • Respond to guest issues and concerns with a constructive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • Promote hotel facilities and services actively to guests.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate brings previous bartender experience in a hotel or other service-focused environment. You should work with urgency, maintain a strong customer-first mindset, and bring a proactive, positive approach to service.

You’ll need genuine enthusiasm for food and beverage, the ability to stay calm and courteous while focusing on guest needs, and the confidence to perform well in a busy, pressurised setting. Strong people skills, problem-solving ability, and a collaborative attitude are also essential.
