Position Overview
This role isn't just about serving food and drinks; it's about crafting a memorable dining experience for guests. The F&B Hostess plays a vital role in ensuring guests enjoy their meals by managing table settings, liaising with the kitchen, engaging with diners, and maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving and interacting with guests to ensure a welcoming and attentive dining experience.
- Setting up tables according to standards and maintaining the overall presentation of the dining area.
- Communicating effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Keeping workspaces and supplies clean and organized.
- Handling physical tasks such as standing, walking on various surfaces, and lifting objects up to 25 pounds independently or up to 50 pounds with assistance.
Candidate Profile and Qualifications
- Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
- Experience: Less than one year in a related role is acceptable.
- Supervisory Experience: Not required.
- Licenses or Certifications: None required.
