About the Role
As the Fashion Marketing Manager at CHANEL based in Dubai, you will play a crucial role in advancing the client marketing strategy across the Middle East boutiques. Your focus will be to enhance brand visibility, expand the client database, and evolve image and clienteling activities. Working closely with boutiques daily and collaborating with the Fashion Europe Marketing team, you will translate broad strategies into practical initiatives that strengthen client engagement.
This position also includes managing a team of two individuals and supporting partner boutiques across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and implement the marketing strategy tailored to the Middle East market, aligned with the global and European Fashion vision.
- Collaborate with Boutique Directors to instill a client-focused approach, defining customized client engagement strategies for each boutique.
- Plan and monitor the marketing budget following provided guidelines.
- Work alongside global and European marketing teams to create synergies and refine regional marketing plans.
- Introduce innovative client services within boutiques, partnering with Operations, CED, and Learning teams for seamless execution.
- Promote and embed a clienteling culture in line with European strategies.
- Set clienteling targets for boutiques based on specific challenges, coordinating with CED and European leadership.
- Oversee service quality measurement tools (Pulse Index, Voice of Client survey, Competitors Pulse Index) and develop improvement plans to achieve service excellence.
- Lead deployment of strategic client data projects and tools such as Pioneer and Carat in cooperation with CED team.
- Roll out new digital client experience tools (e.g., Waitwhile, inchanel), ensuring adoption in boutiques with Operations and Learning teams and providing feedback for further enhancements.
- Design client treatment and gifting strategies and enhance hospitality standards in all boutiques.
- Work with local and European stakeholders to prevent parallel market activities.
- Develop and execute impactful event plans aligned with client strategies and budget constraints, managing both in-store and external events with various partners.
- Coordinate with PR and Media departments to maintain consistent image events.
- Monitor event outcomes with quantitative, qualitative, and sustainability measures.
- Collaborate productively with the W&FJ division on boutique fashion events.
- Define top client strategies for all interaction points, ensuring service excellence through a hospitality network.
- Lead and animate the marketing community to embed the client relational promise in every boutique.
- Participate actively in Fashion team projects such as seminars and meetings.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum five years' marketing experience, preferably within luxury brands.
- Strong leadership qualities to inspire team excellence.
- Proficient in strategic planning and delivering impactful campaigns.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across local, regional, and international teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills fostering robust relationships.
- Analytical thinker focused on measurable business outcomes.
- Knowledge of luxury retail environments is advantageous.
