About the Role
Uskees, a vibrant independent menswear fashion label operating out of Manchester, UK, seeks a proactive Fashion Marketing Assistant for a part-time permanent position. The role entails hybrid working with on-site presence in Manchester (Timperley) and remote work on Wednesdays. Working hours are 30 hours weekly, Monday through Thursday from 8am to 4pm, compensated at £13 per hour.
Role Overview and Duties
The successful candidate will join the brand team to assist in orchestrating campaigns, photoshoots, and content launches designed to introduce and boost seasonal collections and product drops. Responsibilities include producing editorial content, managing eCommerce and brand communications, coordinating influencer and agency relationships, and organizing events like trade shows and launch gatherings.
This role focuses heavily on daily marketing activities to strengthen brand presence while maintaining consistency and creativity. Over time, the assistant will gain more independence to develop fresh and original social media content in line with the brand's identity.

Key Responsibilities
- Support the brand team with everyday marketing and brand communication tasks.
- Assist in producing and distributing various content including photo/video shoots, product descriptions, newsletters, journal articles, and social media posts.
- Handle influencer relations by identifying menswear creators, liaising with their representatives, and managing product gifting.
- Collaborate on editorial content and manage engagement across channels to boost brand visibility.
- Coordinate digital marketing creatives for ads and e-commerce storefront, monitor analytics to optimize performance and conversion rates.
- Track menswear trends, styling, pricing, and industry developments to maintain brand competitiveness.
- Assist in planning and executing brand strategy, attending campaign shoots and rollouts.
- Organize events such as pop-up shops, sample sales, fashion week activities, and launch parties.
- Develop into lead content creator by conceptualizing and producing short-form content, managing content calendar, monitoring social media trends, and analyzing creative performance data.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in fashion marketing, business, or communications.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects from conception through completion while ensuring brand consistency.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for external vendor and internal team collaboration.
- Awareness of the contemporary menswear market, trends, and styling preferences.
- Familiarity with social media trends and content creation experience.
- A strong creative sense and cultural insight including interests in art, design, photography, and film.
