Role summary

The Fashion Associate helps create an excellent in-store experience by supporting customers, keeping the sales area neat and attractive, and assisting with everyday store activities. This position is centered on service, styling support, and smooth front-of-house execution, including fitting room help and cash handling.

Key duties

• Provide a memorable shopping experience that encourages customer loyalty and repeat visits.
• Handle checkout transactions quickly and with accuracy so customers have a smooth payment experience.
• Support a welcoming, inclusive, and customer-focused atmosphere through personalized service and prompt responses to questions.
• Use knowledge of products and active promotions to help increase add-on sales and support store results.
• Keep the sales floor tidy, well-organized, and visually appealing.
• Assist with day-to-day store operations to maintain consistent performance across the shift.

Qualifications

• Previous exposure to retail, sales, or customer service is an advantage.
• Comfort working in a busy environment where tasks and priorities can change quickly.
• A service-oriented approach with the ability to make customers feel comfortable and engaged.
• Clear communication and strong people skills.
• Ability to stay adaptable and productive in a fast-paced setting.
• Positive team mindset, good attention to detail, and a professional attitude.
• Interest in fashion, along with a good eye for style and current trends.
• Working knowledge of POS, ERP, ATS systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Availability that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg), and use a step ladder reaching up to 3 m (10 feet).

Additional information

The hiring rate is $0.40 above the minimum wage, and it may be higher depending on relevant experience.
