This position blends tourism with agriculture, inviting you to be hands-on in delivering memorable farm tours while supporting the upkeep and health of our 150-hectare property overlooking Lake Whakatipu.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide guests through engaging farm tours, demonstrating rural practices including sheep shearing and dog handling with training provided.
• Assist the rural team in maintaining pristine grounds and ensuring the welfare of farm animals.
• Contribute to conservation efforts such as planting native trees while educating visitors about our environmental commitments.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Minimum of one year experience either in tourism guiding or farming.
• Preferably skilled in sheep shearing and dog handling.
• Confident presenter capable of addressing groups up to 200 participants.
• Possession of a valid driver's license.
• Strong team-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for rural life and flexibility to assist in various tasks.

• Permanent full-time employment with guaranteed 30 hours per week.
• Competitive hourly pay between $27.50 and $29.50.
