Job description
About the Clinic
101 Medical Centre is a busy, patient-focused family and specialty medicine clinic in North Toronto, situated at a high-traffic intersection in Vaughan, Ontario. Operating since 2014, the centre brings together a multidisciplinary team committed to compassionate, comprehensive, and collaborative care.
The clinic offers a wide range of services, including Family Medicine, Walk-In Care, Psychotherapy, Psychiatry, Physiotherapy, Neurofeedback, Women’s Health, Weight Management, Chiropractic, Osteopathy, Naturopathic Medicine, and more. The team is growing and is specifically interested in adding a physician with a Women’s Health focus to work alongside an existing specialist in that area.
Why Physicians May Choose This Clinic
The practice provides a modern and fully equipped environment with turnkey exam rooms, an EMR system (OSCAR), and full administrative support so physicians can concentrate on patient care.
Its location and reputation generate a consistent stream of both new and returning patients, making it easier to develop a full roster in a stable way.
The clinic also values a respectful, team-oriented culture and offers a supportive setting for physicians who want to contribute to patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary environment.
Role Overview
The Family Physician will deliver primary care services and additional specialized support related to women’s health. The role includes preventive care, clinical assessment, management of ongoing conditions, and coordination with other providers to support comprehensive treatment.
Working Arrangement and Compensation
Scheduling is flexible and may run from Monday through Saturday. Physicians can select their hours and walk-in shifts based on availability and practice needs.
Compensation is described as a competitive split, with performance bonuses and CME incentives available. The clinic also notes strong referral pathways and high patient demand.
Additional Support
Physicians may collaborate with specialists and allied health professionals, with opportunities to build sub-specialty interests over time. Supervision is available for eligible foreign-trained physicians, and the clinic is also open to supporting new graduates.
Responsibilities
The physician will be expected to provide complete primary care services, with added attention to women’s health concerns. The role also involves assessments, physical examinations, preventive screenings, management of both acute and chronic conditions, health promotion counselling, and accurate clinical recordkeeping.
The physician should also work closely with specialists and contribute to a professional culture built on communication, respect, and ongoing improvement.
Requirements
Applicants should hold an MD and have completed a Family Medicine residency. A CPSO license is required or the candidate must be eligible for one. CCFP certification is preferred, and CMPA coverage is expected.
Strong communication and interpersonal ability are important, along with a patient-first, ethical, and collaborative approach. Comfort with EMR systems and virtual care is also required.
Who Can Apply
Family physicians, including eligible foreign-trained physicians and new graduates, may apply if they meet the licensing and training requirements. Physicians with an interest in Women’s Health are especially encouraged to consider the role.
Notes
The clinic emphasizes that it already has the space and patient demand in place, and is seeking physicians to join and expand the team.
