About Tarte Cosmetics

Tarte Cosmetics, founded nearly 25 years ago by Maureen Kelly, is a leading brand in high-performance natural beauty products. Known for cruelty-free cosmetics, the company emphasizes clean ingredients, avoiding harmful chemicals such as parabens, mineral oil, and phthalates. With 85% of products vegan and 100% vegan skincare, tarte is proud to be the top concealer brand in the United States. The brand operates globally with retail presence in over 20 countries and ships worldwide to more than 50 countries.

Tarte is deeply committed to social responsibility, including contributions to education through teacher wishlist donations, mentorship programs, and small business awards. It also maintains the non-profit Heart to Tarte, supporting female empowerment, underserved communities, environmental protection, animal rescue, disaster aid, and health initiatives. The company sustainably sources ingredients from cooperatives, including funding an all-female maracuja cooperative in the Rainforest.
