About the Role
Join Ireland's leading foodservice company as a Facilities Technician at our Dublin Distribution Centre. Be part of a team passionate about supporting thousands of cafés, restaurants, and bars nationwide. In this full-time onsite position, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the facility’s operations, aligned with Sysco’s core principle to keep the customer central to all activities.
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide a top-quality maintenance service ensuring operational efficiency, effectiveness, and safety.
- Deliver maintenance support including updating equipment logs, data entry, and involvement in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues.
- Carry out electro-mechanical repairs on high-speed, PLC-controlled equipment including handling and packaging machinery, plus pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Offer technical support for plant facilities such as compressed air and refrigeration systems.
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) of all maintenance activities and changes daily.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Automotive disciplines.
- Minimum of three years post-apprenticeship experience in a similar role within a regulated manufacturing or logistics environment.
- Strong background and qualifications in mechanical and electrical maintenance.
- Proven knowledge of quality standards, health and safety practices.
- Experience with planned preventative maintenance and fault diagnosis.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts and travel as required.
