About the Wardandi Wanil Art Centre
The City of Bunbury invites Aboriginal candidates to submit expressions of interest for casual or fixed-term positions at the Wardandi Wanil Art Centre, a vibrant cultural venue dedicated to creativity, storytelling, and connection to Country. This centre serves as a welcoming space emphasizing community engagement and cultural appreciation.
Role Overview and Responsibilities
Open positions mainly involve front-of-house, gallery, and studio duties. The focus is on delivering excellent customer service and fostering a positive environment for all visitors, artists, and community participants.
Candidate Profile
Ideal applicants will have an enthusiastic and approachable nature, with an eagerness to contribute to a culturally rich and creative setting. While direct arts or gallery experience is not mandatory, a genuine respect for cultural diversity and interest in arts and culture is essential.
Expression of Interest Process
Submissions will help build a talent pool for future vacancies aligned with candidate skills and availability. Expressions of interest will remain active for 12 months, with secure storage of applications. Withdrawal of applications can be done by contacting the City's records office.
