Role overview

Gulf Orchid Perfume Manufacturing is seeking a driven Export Sales Executive to grow international sales for its perfume ranges. This position centers on building and sustaining partnerships with overseas distributors and clients, while helping the company expand into new markets and meet export revenue goals.

What you will do

  • Identify promising export destinations for perfume products across the Middle East, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
  • Build durable relationships with international distributors, wholesalers, and B2B customers.
  • Generate new business through prospecting, lead development, and market analysis.
  • Handle the export sales cycle from inquiry and quotation through follow-up and shipment coordination.
  • Coordinate closely with production, logistics, and finance teams to keep inventory, dispatches, and payments aligned.
  • Track competitor activity, pricing shifts, customer preferences, and regional market conditions to support business planning.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines with overseas buyers in line with company rules.
  • Represent the business at trade fairs, exhibitions, and industry events to strengthen brand visibility and attract buyers.
  • Oversee export paperwork, commercial agreements, and compliance-related documentation.
  • Share sales updates, market insights, and forecasting inputs with management on a regular basis.

Requirements

  • At least 2 to 4 years of experience in export sales within perfumes, cosmetics, or FMCG.
  • Strong working knowledge of international trade rules, export documents, and Incoterms.
  • Proven ability to develop and manage B2B sales pipelines in international markets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with comfort working across cultures and time zones.
  • Good command of English; knowledge of French or Arabic will be considered an advantage.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and trade exhibitions when needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, International Trade, or a related discipline.

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Umm al-Quwain, United Arab Emirates. The role is geared toward candidates who can actively support overseas market growth, manage export operations, and contribute to performance targets in a fast-moving international sales environment.
