About the Role
Join Boeing Global Services in Qatar to contribute as an Experienced Quality Assurance Specialist supporting the AH-64 business at Al Udeid Air Base. Key Responsibilities
- Examine and confirm product non-conformities, disposition types, quality protocols, and engineering specifications.
- Conduct analyses assessing the quality of products, operations, and procedures in alignment with Quality Management System (QMS) standards, company policies, contractual obligations, and government regulations.
- Utilize aerospace design and systems knowledge to perform failure analysis and forensic evaluations of aerospace components and systems.
- Provide training and mentoring to colleagues on the Quality Management System.
- Perform root cause investigations on defects to determine causes and prevent recurrence; independently establish, revise, and document corrective and preventive actions to resolve issues efficiently.
- Ensure corrective measures are secured for nonconforming plans, hardware, and processes.
- Negotiate agreements and commitments for preventive and corrective actions, prioritize quality initiatives, and guarantee resolution of problems.
- Review and validate corrective action plans for effectiveness and confirm their completion; approve changes in quality planning and disposition of nonconforming hardware and processes.
- Oversee validation of configuration management, quality procedures, and material review policies related to software product delivery.
- Create and improve software system processes to meet evolving industry standards.
- Address corrective actions resulting from audit findings to ensure media storage and handling comply with engineering requirements.
- Interpret industry standards and recommend implementation strategies.
- Compile analytical reports and coordinate with relevant parties for internal and external distribution.
Additional Information
This position operates under general supervision and requires obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance through the U.S. Government.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in aircraft operations, maintenance, or training related to these fields.
- At least 5 years' expertise in quality or inspection functions concerning military aircraft.
- Three or more years working with Quality Management Systems.
- Flexibility to work variable schedules including weekends, overtime, and possibly rotating shifts.
Preferred Experience
- Five or more years' experience maintaining the AH-64 helicopter platform.
- At least 5 years’ military service as a rotary-wing aircraft maintainer.
- Experience with military rotorcraft platforms such as MH-6, CH-47, UH-60, or AH-64.
- Previous roles as a Quality Assurance specialist or Technical Inspector.
