About the Role
Petstock Group is seeking an experienced dog groomer to join the Frankston team in a full-time, on-site position. The role is focused on delivering high-quality grooming experiences while contributing to a business that is driven by pets, people, and the planet.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out complete grooming services for different breeds, including bathing, drying, nail trimming, brushing, combing, and both general and breed-specific clipping.
- Create a positive, memorable experience for pet owners and their dogs throughout the grooming process.
- Coordinate the salon operation and customer flow in partnership with the Store Manager.
- Handle client bookings and scheduling.
- Support the store floor team when needed by delivering excellent customer service.
- Maintain a clean, professional salon appearance and manage stock levels.
- Work with the Store Manager and wider team to meet member program goals and expectations.
- Support local marketing activities and recruitment referral efforts.
- Contribute to achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Promote a strong safety culture across the salon and store.
What We’re Looking For
- Prior professional dog grooming experience.
- Grooming qualification preferred, though not mandatory.
- Ability to build and maintain strong safety practices in the salon and store.
- Solid knowledge of breed-specific clips, grooming styles, and relevant brand/product information.
- Physical capability to handle and lift heavy animals when needed.
- Experience working with live animals.
- Advanced awareness of zoonotic and skin conditions, including the ability to recognise them.
- Proven ability to deliver strong grooming outcomes through quality care, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect well with customers and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail.
