Job description
Overview
This is a fixed-term full-time position based in Whakatāne, New Zealand, covering maternity leave from July 2026 through April 2027. The role is an opportunity to help shape exhibitions and creative experiences that engage the local community.
What the role involves
You will collaborate with curators, artists, and technicians to support the delivery of exhibitions and public programmes. Your work will span exhibition installation, changeovers, visitor-facing support, and general gallery operations.
Who this role suits

Experience in the arts sector is welcome, but applicants from events, tourism, hospitality, creative industries, or community engagement backgrounds are also encouraged to consider applying.
