Role Summary
This full-time remote executive position is responsible for leading the overall operation, strategic direction, and growth of Saudi Electrode Factory. The role combines hands-on management of production and supply chain activities with coordination across sales, marketing, and other teams to ensure quality and safety objectives are consistently achieved. The executive will track performance indicators, improve workflows, and guide cross-functional teams so that day-to-day execution stays aligned with business goals. In addition, the person in this role will nurture relationships with customers, distributors, and suppliers, spot new market opportunities, and support revenue expansion. Financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, risk oversight, and business reporting to senior leadership are also key parts of the job.
Responsibilities
- Direct daily operations and support the long-term strategy for the welding consumables business.
- Oversee production, supply chain execution, inventory movement, and operational efficiency improvements.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to support commercial growth and market reach.
- Ensure that product quality, safety practices, and compliance requirements are consistently maintained.
- Monitor key business metrics and use performance data to guide decisions and process improvements.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams in a remote working setup.
- Build and preserve strong relationships with customers, distributors, and vendors.
- Identify business expansion opportunities and contribute to revenue growth initiatives.
- Prepare budgets, forecasts, and performance analyses to support financial control.
- Manage business risks and provide regular updates and reports to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Prior experience managing or leading a welding consumables company or an industrial manufacturing business, with solid knowledge of electrodes, wires, and related products.
- Strong background in operations leadership, including production planning, supply chain management, inventory control, and process improvement.
- Proven ability in business development, sales oversight, and relationship management in industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Good financial understanding, covering budgeting, forecasting, cost management, and performance evaluation.
- Capability to create and execute strategic plans, define targets, and align teams and resources around growth objectives.
- Knowledge of quality assurance, workplace safety, and regulatory standards relevant to welding consumables manufacturing.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, and people-management skills, especially in a cross-functional remote environment.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain complex matters to different stakeholder groups.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, industrial management, or a similar field; an advanced degree is beneficial.
- Comfort using digital collaboration tools and basic ERP or manufacturing management systems.
