Role Overview
This Executive Recruiter position sits within the Global Talent Acquisition team and partners with the Executive Leadership Team on highly sensitive searches. The role works closely with sourcing and coordination teams on location analysis, diversity and inclusion efforts, and delivering a strong experience for internal stakeholders and candidates. It offers high visibility across Aon along with strong opportunities for learning, development, and growth in a fast-moving environment.
What You Will Do
- Build effective relationships with senior leaders and develop a clear understanding of business priorities, financial goals, and hiring needs.
- Provide advisory support to leadership on talent acquisition, using sound judgment and consultative recruiting expertise to align hiring with strategic objectives.
- Promote the value of diversity by helping ensure candidate slates are varied and that interview panels include diverse perspectives.
- Handle confidential executive searches with discretion while sharing market intelligence and candidate insights.
- Work with APAC and global sourcing teams to create executive talent pipelines and detailed talent market maps when required.
- Partner with the Global Head of Talent Acquisition, regional TA leaders, HR, Compensation, Total Rewards, Legal, and other stakeholders to deliver high service standards.
- Collaborate with selected retained and contingent search partners for niche hiring requirements.
Experience and Background
The ideal candidate brings substantial, proven experience in recruiting, especially at executive level. Strong influence skills, deep talent acquisition knowledge, and the ability to maintain effective relationships across all levels of the organization are important. The role also calls for a practical, solution-oriented mindset and the ability to bring creative approaches to executive hiring.
Additional Requirements
- Comfort working with people across every level of the organization.
- Experience using behavioral interviewing methods and other assessment approaches.
- Hands-on knowledge of one or more ATS and CRM platforms, along with experience building talent maps and hiring strategies.
- Strong project management capability.
- Broad awareness of industry trends and a professional network, with some exposure to external recruitment agencies.
- Alignment with Aon’s values, including integrity and commitment to clients, colleagues, and the community.
