Job description
Role overview
We are looking for a highly capable Executive / Personal Assistant to support the CEO of a fast-growing technology company in the Los Angeles Metropolitan Area. This is a demanding, high-profile position for someone who is polished, highly organized, emotionally intelligent, and able to stay calm under pressure while handling both business and personal support.
You will work closely with the Chief of Staff and sit close to the center of the organization, supporting a CEO with a fast pace, ambitious outlook, and a broad network across technology, media, and business. The right person will act as a dependable gatekeeper, strategic partner, and trusted right hand across professional and personal matters.
Key responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the CEO’s constantly changing calendar, balancing business priorities, outside relationships, and personal commitments with careful judgment and discretion.
- Arrange domestic and international travel from start to finish for both work and personal needs, including flights, hotels, transportation, and live itinerary updates.
- Serve as a reliable point of contact between the CEO, Chief of Staff, leadership team, board members, external partners, family, and household vendors or staff.
- Create concise briefing notes, meeting agendas, and follow-up materials so the CEO is prepared and focused on high-value work.
- Sort, assess, and prioritize incoming messages across both professional and personal channels, deciding what needs immediate attention and what can be delegated or delayed.
- Work in close partnership with the Chief of Staff on strategic initiatives, special projects, and day-to-day operational coordination.
- Coordinate logistics for board meetings, offsites, investor sessions, major events, dinners, family gatherings, and other personal or social commitments.
- Handle personal errands, household coordination, gift selection, and lifestyle scheduling when needed.
- Manage confidential and sensitive matters with the highest level of discretion and professionalism.
- Stay ahead of needs, spot gaps, and solve problems proactively in a fast-moving environment across both office and home settings.
Qualifications
- At least 7 years of experience supporting senior executives in a combined executive and personal assistant role, preferably in high-growth technology, media, entertainment, or consumer-facing companies.
- Experience supporting a CEO with a demanding calendar, extensive external relationships, and overlapping work and personal responsibilities.
- Excellent planning ability and strong attention to detail, with the capacity to manage many priorities at once.
- Strong executive presence, clear communication skills, and a high level of emotional intelligence.
- Comfort working in ambiguity and at speed, including availability outside standard hours for travel or personal support when required.
- Very high standards of confidentiality, judgment, and trustworthiness when handling sensitive business and personal information.
- Advanced ability with Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and collaboration platforms such as Slack, Asana, and Notion.
Additional information
This role offers the chance to operate at a senior level within a rapidly scaling technology business while partnering closely with an accomplished CEO and Chief of Staff. It provides meaningful exposure, influence, and room to grow for someone who sees themselves as a true strategic and lifestyle partner, not simply an administrative support resource.
Applicants should submit a resume for consideration.
