Job Summary
This role is suited to a dependable, detail-focused housekeeping professional who can help keep guest or resident spaces clean, orderly, and safe. The position calls for someone who values quality work, follows cleaning procedures carefully, and provides courteous service at all times.
Core Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and shared/common spaces.
- Prepare beds, change linens, and restock towels and guest supplies.
- Carry out vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing of furniture and fixtures.
- Flag repair needs, broken items, and any safety concerns to the supervisor.
- Keep housekeeping trolleys and cleaning materials replenished.
- Remove trash and recyclables in line with company disposal guidelines.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene requirements.
- Handle guest or resident requests quickly, politely, and professionally.
- Protect guest privacy and maintain strict confidentiality.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
- Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning is helpful but not mandatory.
- Ability to work on your own as well as cooperatively within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and effective time management.
- Physically capable of standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying loads of up to 20 kg during a shift.
- Basic English communication skills; knowledge of other languages is an added advantage.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and rotating shifts.
