About the Role and Company
This position involves acting as the primary sales representative focused on expanding retail business within a designated territory by creating, supporting, and managing a network of dealers and contractors. The ultimate goal is to meet business volume and value targets through efficient stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
- Develop monthly plans to meet assigned business goals for the territory and actively pursue target achievement.
- Support dealers in reaching their sales targets by conducting frequent visits, communicating ongoing schemes, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.
- Identify and open new dealer counters to expand sustainable sales potential in the territory.
- Analyze territory-specific data to find gaps and implement initiatives to enhance sales performance.
- Facilitate growth and upgrade the value of the current dealer network.
- Organize promotional events and product awareness sessions for dealers and contractors.
- Respond promptly to dealer queries to maintain strong relationships.
- Assist dealers in resolving any customer or contractor complaints or concerns.
- Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to guarantee availability of materials, services, and promotional tools.
- Ensure timely payment collection from dealers according to established guidelines.
- Manage contractor enrollment, updating points and extending loyalty program benefits through dealers.
- Plan and execute product awareness meetings for contractors, especially during new product launches.
- Investigate and address complaints at dealer and customer levels within defined timeframes.
- Collaborate with other divisions like project sales and services for lead sharing or issue resolution as needed.
- Maintain and submit reports such as daily visit logs and monthly territory reports.
Eligibility and Education
- Graduation degree in any discipline (e.g., BA, B.Com, BBA, BBM, BMS) from a full-time program.
- Consistent academic record with at least 50% marks across all education levels and no backlogs.
- Applicants with 1 to 2 years of sales experience in any industry are preferred.
