Role overview
Enterprise Management Solutions, LLC is hiring an experienced Executive Director of Residential Care & Recovery Services to lead assigned residential programs, homes, service lines, and operational teams. This Baltimore-based, in-person role involves frequent movement across residential sites, offices, meetings, inspections, and other operational settings.
The position is best suited to someone with a background in healthcare, behavioral health, recovery services, assisted living, DDA services, human services operations, staffing supervision, compliance readiness, and managing programs across multiple sites.
Work arrangement and schedule
This is a full-time, non-exempt W-2 employee role. The work model is field-based and must be performed onsite in Baltimore, MD. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST.
The role requires about 50% travel, and a company vehicle will be used for work-related travel.
Compensation and benefits
Hourly pay is offered at $28.00 to $40.00 per hour. The role is eligible for standard W-2 employee benefits, subject to the applicable plan rules and eligibility criteria.
What you will do
- Direct the day-to-day functioning of assigned residential programs, homes, and service lines while ensuring operations stay safe, orderly, and compliant.
- Support and guide program directors, managers, house managers, supervisors, and facility leaders.
- Track staffing coverage, schedules, supervision, occupancy, census, admissions, discharges, referrals, resident movement, and workflow execution.
- Assist with stabilization, restructuring, new launches, certification efforts, and growth initiatives across programs as needed.
- Review resident files, documentation, house logs, incident reports, training completion, credentials, and readiness for inspections.
- Help coordinate audits, licensing checks, certification preparation, compliance follow-up, and corrective action plans when issues arise.
- Work closely with clinical, compliance, finance, property management, maintenance, safety, and administrative teams to resolve facility, staffing, emergency, and crisis-related concerns.
- Provide regular operational updates to the Chief Operating Officer covering staffing, safety, compliance, occupancy, facility needs, resident care issues, and overall program performance.
Qualifications
- A master’s degree is required in Healthcare Administration, Human Services Administration, Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, Public Health, Business Administration, Nonprofit Management, Behavioral Health Administration, Nursing Administration, Rehabilitation Counseling, or a closely related discipline.
- A valid driver’s license is required.
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in residential care, healthcare, behavioral health, recovery services, assisted living, DDA, senior services, or human services operations is strongly preferred.
- At least 3 years of supervisory, management, or program leadership experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience with residential programs, multi-site operations, staffing, compliance, audits, inspections, documentation, and service delivery is preferred.
- Any applicable residential care, behavioral health, assisted living, DDA, healthcare, or administrative license must remain in good standing if required for the role.
- Candidates must be able to pass background and reference checks.
