Position Overview
The Executive Director of Operations role entails leading and optimizing the daily functions across the organization, ensuring operational excellence, efficiency, and alignment with strategic goals. This senior leadership position directs cross-departmental activities to enhance productivity, profitability, and sustainable growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operational actions across all departments and business units.
- Formulate and enforce operational strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with company objectives.
- Identify and implement measures to elevate efficiency, productivity, and cost controls.
- Track essential performance metrics to guarantee business targets are met.
- Partner with senior executives to deploy strategic initiatives at the organizational level.
- Manage budgets, forecast financials, and allocate resources to optimize outcomes.
- Ensure adherence to internal policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Recognize operational risks and devise strategies to sustain continuity.
- Lead change management and continuous improvement initiatives.

- Direct workforce planning, talent growth, and performance evaluation within operations.
- Assess and implement technological solutions to boost operational efficiency.
- Maintain strategic relationships with clients, vendors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Generate and present operational performance reports to senior leadership and the board.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Management, Finance, Engineering, or related discipline; MBA is preferred.
- Minimum 15 years of progressively responsible experience in operations management, including leadership roles.
- Demonstrated success managing extensive operational functions and cross-functional teams.
- Deep knowledge of business operations, organizational development, and process enhancement.
- Expertise in budgeting, financial analysis, and performance oversight.
- Exceptional skills in leadership, effective communication, negotiation, and decision-making.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Adept at juggling multiple priorities within fast-paced settings.
