Role overview
This position leads client solutioning for cash and trade within the IBG, SWF and FS segments in the UAE. The role focuses on growing business profitability, deepening product penetration, and shaping tailored solutions for clients across industries.
Core accountabilities
- Spot and convert cash and trade opportunities across multiple UAE industries, with a focus on profitable growth.
- Partner with coverage teams to drive cash and trade product expansion, execute segment-wise calling plans, and strengthen penetration across assigned client groups.
- Apply a consultative sales approach to design practical, innovative solutions that match client needs, including deal structuring and responses to RFPs.
- Build insights on market needs and create bespoke open account solutions, including SCF and RF, while supporting a strong customer experience.
- Structure complex trade transactions and provide technical guidance to clients and relationship managers.
- Design liquidity and liability solutions that support CASA growth and improve deposit generation.
- Identify and manage fraud, compliance, and transactional risks in cash and trade solutions.
- Promote adoption of the bank’s electronic channels among both existing and new-to-bank customers.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline with coverage teams, track deal progress closely, and keep stakeholders informed on closures and priorities.
- Work with coverage teams on credit proposals, trade facility structuring, and efficient risk-managed execution.
- Ensure cash management business is retained within the bank and not lost to competitors.
- Keep service quality customer-focused and ensure delivery standards remain strong.
- Coordinate with regional and cross-regional stakeholders to support network connectivity and cross-border transaction opportunities.
- Help generate leads from existing relationships and support new client origination to expand wallet share and create new revenue.
- Provide specialist input to coverage teams so proposals and RFP responses are commercially strong and mandate-winning.
