Role Overview
The Customer Success Executive plays a critical role in the successful introduction and adoption of the gfknewron platform, a proprietary tool by NIQ/GfK. This role is focused on engaging client users during trial phases and converting them to committed customers, emphasizing driving user adoption, satisfaction, and deepening client relationships. A strong understanding of the technology and consumer goods industries is essential, along with consistent interaction with client stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships. For key accounts, the role also involves identifying growth opportunities and collaborating with sales teams to expand offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Position yourself as a strategic partner to local and regional clients.
- Serve as an internal and external innovation driver, facilitating rapid adaptation to shifting market demands.
- Maintain thorough expertise in relevant industries, products, and distribution channels.
- Deliver comprehensive consulting services, including insights, analytics, and thought leadership, to create client value.
- Own client relationships within the Customer Success team, managing communication and engagement.
- Establish and nurture a broad network within client organizations to maximize business potential.
- Lead Joint Business Plan processes by aligning client goals, defining success metrics, and collaborating across teams to integrate analytics and data quality.
- Conduct Quantified Business Opportunity and Client Review meetings to assess service delivery, highlight outcomes, and align plans with evolving client priorities.
- Manage POS-related data interactions, drive adoption and engagement of the gfknewron platform within client teams, and ensure effective onboarding and training tailored to client needs.
- Identify potential growth opportunities during routine engagements and coordinate these leads with the Account Development team.
- Act as the voice of the customer internally, ensuring client needs related to data quality or reporting are promptly addressed.
- Serve as industry and category expert for assigned segments.
- Coordinate client services at local and regional levels.
- Collaborate on cross-selling and upselling initiatives as part of client growth strategies.
- Support renewal efforts by demonstrating measurable business outcomes and value delivered.
- Maintain certification in the gfknewron suite and possess detailed knowledge of the POS proposition.
- Stay current with market trends and platform updates to offer informed guidance.
- Collect client feedback to inform product development and operational improvements.
- Work closely with account management throughout sales and renewal cycles to identify opportunities.
- Partner with other business units to unveil strategic assignment possibilities.
- Oversee quality control to maintain the GfK seal of quality across deliverables.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, or related field.
- Consultancy experience is highly preferred.
- At least 1 to 3 years working in Market Research, Product Marketing, or Business Development, particularly in Home & Lifestyle, Consumer Durables, or Technology sectors.
- Fluency in English with strong presentation and communication capabilities.
- Client-focused mindset with proactive collaboration across multiple disciplines.
- Effective decision-making skills to achieve client results and organizational goals.
- Ability to drive results in diverse cultural and professional settings.
- Demonstrates passion, dedication, eagerness to learn, creativity, and entrepreneurial spirit.
