Role Overview
We seek a seasoned freelance writer or communications specialist to collaborate with us on "Executive Report," a weekly newsletter designed for executives. The ideal candidate will support the creation, development, and refinement of this premium executive publication, providing insightful thought leadership and substantial value to readers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ghostwriting and crafting communications tailored for executive-level individuals.
- Planning, authoring, and overseeing weekly newsletter content and editorial process.
- Producing thought leadership pieces that position executives strategically.
- Designing email marketing approaches and newsletter strategies to maximize engagement.
- Writing compelling copy and crafting engaging stories.
- Strategizing social media content and repurposing existing materials effectively.
- Developing executive positioning and enhancing personal branding efforts.
- Conducting interviews with subject matter experts and converting discussions into engaging written narratives.
- Performing research, verifying facts, and synthesizing complex subjects into accessible and captivating content.
- Managing editorial calendars and planning content releases.
- Consistently meeting weekly delivery deadlines with high-quality output.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing executive newsletters, thought leadership, or communications aimed at C-suite level.
- Outstanding abilities in writing, editing, and storytelling.
- Skill in authentically capturing and representing an executive's unique voice.
- Proven collaboration and project management expertise.
- Experience working directly with senior executives or leadership groups.
- Proficiency in adopting and maintaining the Executive House brand voice, characterized as professional, insightful, conversational, and focused on executives.
